Movies in the Neighborhood Park 

Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, the Grand Rapids Police Department, and the Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department are putting on movies in the parks this summer! You can enjoy FREE family-friendly movies at Clemente Park, MLK Park and Eastern Park. Check out the movie schedule here.

The West Michigan Prayer Center is hosting Charlynne Boddie on August 13, 2019 at 10:00am. Charlynne has worked in three presidential administrations, is a tremendous speaker and teacher and her spiritual and life experiences are like listening to Henry Gruver. Please consider attending! City of Grand Rapids – Community Safety 

The City of Grand Rapids is enhancing community safety and opportunity through expanded recreational offerings, a new park ambassadors program and a park event in each of the city’s three wards. The City developed the pilot programs shortly after a recent shooting incident at Joe Taylor Park. More info can be found here. 

Paid Survey Opportunity 

Seeds is partnering with the Kent County Health Department to survey the community. Under this contract, Seeds will be paying residents per survey completed. If anyone is interested is a survey position, the training is this Thursday, July 11, at 3:00 pm at the Seeds office! 

Free Meals During Summer Vacation

Several locations around the City and within the Seeds area will be offering free meals and snacks during summer break for school-aged kids.
